Welcome To Giriraj Nursing College, Baramati
The increasing demand for trained nurses across the world made the nursing as a good career option so we established Giriraj Nursing College, Baramati from 2004. We started A General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3 years with the 20 intake capacity. Steps have been taken for the further progress and we are started Auxiliary Nursing in Midwifery (ANM) course of 2 years with the 20 intake capacity in the year of 2009. B.Sc. Nursing 4-year degree was started in 2025 and P.B.B.Sc. Course of 2 years (Degree) is upcoming in 2026. According to the time, Nursing Care demand increased so, we also adopted to the condition of society and we increased our courses strength of GNM 20 to 60 seats and ANM 20 to 50 seats.
The Giriraj Nursing College, Baramati is Approved By Government of Maharashtra and Affilated to Maharashtra State Board Of Nursing And Paramedical Education Mumbai, Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai And Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The College Offers 3 Years Diploma In General Nursing And Midwifery (GNM) Courses For Both Male And Female Candidates. And Auxilary Nurse Midwifery 2 Years Course For Female Candidates (ANM). B.Sc. Nursing 4-year degree was started in 2025 and P.B.B.Sc. Course of 2 years (Degree) is upcoming in 2026. A Highly Qualified And Experienced Teaching Faculties Are Planning And Implementing The Education Program.We recognized that nursing is a profession which is influenced by advances in science and technology. A Supervised Clinical Practies : which provides the pratical knowledge for developing professional skills.
Pratical experience in community health nursing provides knoweledge in rural and urban community health services.
